Compression Comparison: Photoshop 6.0 vs. Fireworks MX

For the second 60% quality test, I reopened the compressed files in their respective applications, cut out a 320x240 sample, resized the samples to 640x480, and saved them once again at 60% image quality.

Again, the Fireworks images are about 1/3rd the size, but amplifying the degradation in image quality makes it much easier to perceive.
